Welcome to the Cracknore and Kilbride Companies

A key component of any infrastructure project is the land. The two principals of the business have property and finance based backgrounds and the development experience on complex projects to deliver on time and on budget.
Global energy pressures to reduce carbon generation and concern over the security of our power supplies has resulted in a rapid growth in Renewable Energy Generation projects.
In assessing, designing, procuring consents and building out complex rail infrastructure projects an experienced and proven track record is required to deliver on time and budget.

Creating Energy and Rail Infrastructure at a Local Level

Cracknore and Kilbride are the lead names for a private group of companies whose core business is the investment and development of energy and rail related infrastructure projects. The two founder principals, Colin Banyard and Ian Steer, are supported by Jackie Burns, Finance Director, and a small team of specialists in engineering, project management and development. There is also an outsource group of professionals who we work with on a continuous basis, who are all specialists within their field of expertise. The business was founded in the mid 1990's after the two principals met and worked together supporting the acquisition and development of the Bristol Port Company. Then followed a number of major infrastructure schemes in the energy and rail sectors.
